Holy balls, I'm back.
You thought I was gone for good, didn't you. Well, I'm not, clearly.
Life's been crazy, I've learned to knit, I've graduated high school, I've neglected my dA account for years...boyfriends have come and gone and I'm on my fifth major in school.
I've been writing, still, just not publicly. I've been fairly active on-and-off on tumblr and I'm trying to get back in the swing of daily journaling with 750words.com. I'm lucky that I joined before they made it a subscription site -- free lifetime membership, woohoo!

I feel really really bad about abandoning my dA for long periods of time and then returning for like a week, then abandoning it again. I'm really sorry, guys. I love you all, you know that.
I'm just really really forgetful.
Anyways, I've written a lot of essays this year (thank you, English class), and I'm thinking about uploading a few of the better ones. I wrote an entire essay challenging a line in King Lear (Lear states that to live contently with only what one needs is akin to being animalistic and a beast) in about fifteen or twenty minutes today (or was it yesterday??). I really liked the essay but hated the way it ended. I'll revise

I've been BUSYBUSYBUSY with band and school. Battle of the Bands (first place feature band HELLZ yeah), Battle of Flowers parade, going to the Flambeau parade with friends, and then the first week of May absolutely stuffed with band as well: officer elections, drum major tryouts, band tryouts, and band banquet. French~!
so I have become obsessed with French (the language, lol) and I want to write a full deviation entirely in French. It'll probably go in my Scraps but oh well~! Despite being only a first-year student I really love it and basically I want to become fluent in at least three languages by the time I graduate college. I'm thinking a minor in linguistics (I'm planning on double-majoring: music and english/creative writing. :))
And well it's probably going to take a lot of work and it'll end up being corrected multiple times by unjamie (https://www.deviantart.com/unjamie) before anyone sees it but it'll be great. I know it.
