GOSH it's been a long time since I updated...not like most of you care anyways, neh?

Recap!

I've been BUSYBUSYBUSY with band and school. Battle of the Bands (first place feature band HELLZ yeah), Battle of Flowers parade, going to the Flambeau parade with friends, and then the first week of May absolutely stuffed with band as well: officer elections, drum major tryouts, band tryouts, and band banquet. Then senior concert, field-testing for these newfangled STAR exams (I claim STAR stands for Standardised Tests Are Retarded. (And I apologise for my usage of the word 'retarded', I don't mean any offence at ALL, I just couldn't think of a better word for R >_< )), and then a short two-day band camp, then finals. October and May are my busiest months, I swear. Yeesh.

BOYFRIEND?!

I'm also 10000x happier now. All because of a special boy and god how I hate the words boy and boyfriend, they sound so stupid to me. AAAAAAAAAAANYWAYS his name is Tommy and well I have no idea yet if it's love but that's why I'm gonna wait and seeee :]

NEW LAPTOP?!

YOU HEARD RIGHT. I have a new laptop. It's sexy as hell and I love it. It's also very very shiny. I love shiny. But not when fingerprints get all over my shiny.
Oh well. It's still shiny.

SUMMER?!

Fuck yes it's summer. And I'm probably not going to update at all this summer because I write mostly when I'm down and I'm not down at all right now.
My summer will be busy. Between hanging out with my and going to my dad's house and GYLC...I'm not gonna have any time at all for sleeping.
Or thanking for faves. (I love thanking people but I hate the time it consumes so I've given up on doing it. >_< )

French~!

so I have become obsessed with French (the language, lol) and I want to write a full deviation entirely in French. It'll probably go in my Scraps but oh well~! Despite being only a first-year student I really love it and basically I want to become fluent in at least three languages by the time I graduate college. I'm thinking a minor in linguistics (I'm planning on double-majoring: music and english/creative writing. )
And well it's probably going to take a lot of work and it'll end up being corrected multiple times by unjamie before anyone sees it but it'll be great. I know it.

Life~!

...has been sucking. We started marching again this week. I've been stabbed by a swing flag (during my solo this morning, FML.) and I managed to whack myself twice in the knees during warmups. Today totally wasn't my day. I messed up majorly every single runthrough and I'm not confident at ALL anymore. :
And drum major tryouts are soon. I'm planning on trying out but I know that a majority of the band really doesn't like me, so I'm not thinking I'll get it. And my summer this year...is full. XD I'll be at Dad's through the end of June, and I'm going off to a summer camp in the first half of July...I'll be in Philly on my birthday, going up to NYC! I LOVE New York. Like, LOOOOOOOOOOOVEloveloveloveloveLOVE. It's my favourite city of all. And I've been to a lot of cities!

I was up in Denton on Saturday to go check out UNT. Am totally loving the campus. It's green and beautiful and big and I really want to go there because they have one of the BEST music programs in the country.
I think I'll start doing a music feature on here because there's so much awesome stuff out there. XD. It's gonna be at the bottom of this journal...
